TORY BURCH BLACK COMBAT BOOTS

I was on the hunt for great combat boots for almost six months with no luck at all. Doc Martens were too clunky, Steve Madden's were too trendy/cheesey, and all the super bad ass ones with over 4 figures (no thank you). These combat boots had to be the perfect mix of feminine and masculine, not too combatty, yet not too fashiony. They had to feel authentic, but didn't literally need to be ripped off the feet of a Vet or anything.

Now the last place I would have ever looked for combat boots was Tory Burch. When I think of Tory Burch, I think of geometrically patterned cardigans, shiny gold buttons with the laser cut stacked "T"s logo, and those ubiquitous ballet flats that every girl has in their closet (at least one pair, admit it). But, I'm really not going to try to deny this one here: I wear Tory Burch, all the freaking time. Like on an everyday basis actually. Her silk button-ups are not too baggy, but the perfect mix of feminine and masculine. Her printed knitwear is kind of something Simon Doonan might wear if he was a fabulous West Coast Mom. I dunno, I'm not a hater but an undercover lover of The Burch, and her accessories never fail me.

So anyways, long story short, my mission for the combat boot ended when I came across Tory Burch's fall line of kicks. Yeah right she totally came up with the exact combat boot that I thought up in my head. The heel was just right, the buckles were solid pieces of bling, and they were kinda gangster. Nice moves Miss Burch!
